Someone who has not been to Madeira will be totally unprepared for the ineffable beauty that pervades the place like a melody you can't get out of your head.  The people of Madeira walk as if that music is a samba, and no one wants to get it out of their heads.  Nothing is rushed.  There is nothing that cannot wait.
