Dinner Aboard

Life aboard a Holland-America ship — aboard almost any cruise liner, in fact — is like being stranded in a 5-star Las Vegas hotel in a blinding sandstorm.  You are forced to dine in Michelin-starred restaurants and enjoy professional stage shows and concerts until the storm lets up.  Occasionally, the storm lets up just long enough for you to dash across the street to some other 5-star hotel for a meal or entertainment, but you have to get back before the wind picks up again.

Entertainment aboard a HAL ship includes things like Lincoln Center Live, B.B.King's Blues Club, America's Test Kitchen demonstrations, and lectures and travelogues on topics that center around experiences you may be exposed to during the several port calls.

There's never a dull moment... unless you want one.
