Norene examines Newspaper Rock from as close as anyone can these days. In times past, before such things were protected, two Gonzales', possibly related, possibly not, climbed up and scratched their names on the rock. For a close-up of the Gonzales boys' artwork, find the hotspot about 11 feet up on the left side of the face. Directly above Norene's head is an etching of a ram, and you can click that to get a close-up. About 10 feet from the ground to Norene's right, see a mounted rider; click it for a close-up view.
