This image almost illustrates the entire life-cycle of an arch.  In the center, a window is just beginning to form;  right now it has a sort of "T" shape.  To the right, a window is almost completely cut through;  there's even a pile of talus spilling out of the opening;  if the fin behind collapses, this will be the park's newest arch.  To the left, two arches stand complete.
