Immediately upon arriving in Albuquerque, David and Maryellen whisked us to the top of Sandia Peak via the tramway, the longest such in the United States. From the top of Sandia Peak (elev. 10,378 ft), the Rio Grande river is only a silvery pencil line squiggling away to the south, and the City of Albuquerque is all but lost in chaos of distance. |
