We didn't go inside Chambord because we were on our way back to Paris, so this is a drive-by châteauing.  Of Chambord's 440 rooms about 80 are open to the public.   Viewing all 440 rooms would take a week in any case and even the most ardent tourist would be totally "Baroque"n by the effort.
