Usually, Norene and I vacation together as a couple. This year we decided to try something different. When Cathy and Joe Mallozzi heard we were going back to France they asked if they could accompany us -- which would give them an experienced guide for the trip. Of course, we agreed. Then Peggy Thomas and Chris Dulligan, whom I work with at Nielsen Media, asked if they could go along with us, too. So we were a "gang of six". People keep telling me that I should go into the tour-guide business, and I admit to having entertained the thought on more than one occasion. This trip, in fact, was a 'dry run' to see whether the techniques I use for planning my own trips can scale-up to a group. The answer is a qualified 'yes'. Some things work; some things don't. Here, The Gang Of Six waits in Philadelphia to board their Paris-bound flight. Our 6.15pm-Eastern departure will get us to Paris just about 8am Paris-time. Our chauffeur from Paris Blue Shuttles will meet us at Arriving Passengers and whisk us to our apartment at 17 rue Cadet in Montmartre.
