Slick-looking train, huh?  In 26 minutes it will take us to Oslo, 7 hours away.  Along the route, we will pass through Finse, the highest point between here and Oslo, and the most remote.

Train travel in Europe is really 'the way to go' unless your itinerary requires you to go where trains do not.  For under 500 USD we bought Scanrail passes for the two of us that provided five days of go-anywhere train travel within 15 days in Scandinavia.  We used the last day for the trip out to Kastrup Airport for the trip home.

We're rushing to Trollhattan, Sweden, to meet our friend Lisa Zinn.  Lisa insisted we be there by the 20th so as not to miss the start of the Midsummer celebrations.
