How's your Latin?   The inscription on the sarcophagus says:

HIC COR CONDITUM EST RICARDI
ANGLORUM REGIS QUI COR LEONIS DICTUS
OBIIT AN M C XC IX

that is: "Here lies the heart of Richard, King of England, who was called 'Lion Hearted', died 1199".   I don't know where the rest of him is, but he left his heart in Rouen.

Rouen, by the way, is a small town.   It is on the order of 7 or 8 square miles.   This is probably smaller than any town you have ever lived in.   Keep that in mind; I'll mention it again later.
