Someone moved in front of the camera between the moment the shutter button was pressed and the moment the image was recorded so you can't see the entire painting.  Take my word for it — Venus is looking upwards toward the heavens.  She's nude — and voluptuous — but that's OK because she's a character from mythology and everyone knows mythological characters, gods and goddesses, are not subject to the same rules as we mortals.  As proof, note that (except for her head) there is not a hair on her body.  Not one.  Venus' nudity is not shocking — it's normal, expected. |
